Zoey

Age: 4 years
Sex: Spayed Female
Size: 80 lbs.
Color: Fawn

Zoey is a very loving girl that has been waiting for her forever family for too long.

She is easy to get along with, loves attention and snuggling on the couch. She would like to be an only dog, but could possibly get along with a mellow male dog.

Zoey is healthy and has a great Fawn coat. Like many Dobermans, she is hypothyroid and takes an inexpensive daily medication.

Adopted!

Jewel

Age: 4 year
Sex: Spayed Female
Size: 70 lbs.
Color: Red/Rust

Jewel is a very sweet and affectionate dog. She was raised with, and loves children. She gets along well with other dogs. Cats are unknown.

She is housetrained, does not need to be crated and loves to go for walks. Jewel is very mellow, and is happy to hang out with her family. She is also invisible fence-trained.

Jewel is looking to be adopted by a family with respectful children (over the age of 6 years).

Buddy

Age: 10 months
Sex: Neutered Male
Size: Large/still growing
Color: Black/Rust

Buddy is a large and energetic puppy that was allowed to rule the roost in his previous home. He is currently learning some manners and self control while in foster care.

He likes to play with other dogs, but tends to be a bit pushy. Buddy has energy to burn, and must go to a home that has the time and experience to deal with his naturally dominant nature.

Brutus

Age: 3 1/2 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Size: 75 lbs
Color: Black/Rust

Brutus or "Brew" as we call him is tall, dark and handsome. His previous family thought that he had too much energy, but we think he just has a touch of ADHD. Now that's living in a structured household, Brew has blossomed.

Brew is crated trained, potty trained and enjoys obedience class. He knows his basic commands, but will sometimes pretend that he doesn't. He gets along great with other dogs, and loves everybody.

Brew would like to live with an active family with previous Doberman experience.

Koa

Age: 8 months
Sex: Male - not neutered yet due to health issues
Size: Medium-large
Color: Red/Rust

Koa is a beautiful young dog that has some medical issues, thanks to the greedy and ignorant breeding practices of the local puppymiller that produced him.

Koa's main issue is that he has a severe case of Demodectic Mange. This is not a contagious disease, but is caused by a weak immune system, either from genetic weakness or from very poor nutritional care. In Koa's case, both apply.

Koa will need months of specialized care in order to resolve this condition. The medication that cures the mange was also poisoning him, so we are now working on boosting his immune system.

Koa really needs a rescue angel that is willing to help us take care of his needs. He's a very sweet boy, that loves to play with other dogs and cuddle with people.

Koa is a prime example of why you should not buy your next Doberman puppy out of the newspaper or just because of a fancy website. This so-called breeder is still producing and selling puppies in MN.

Before you buy your next Doberman puppy, please contact us for advice.

Benito

Age: 10 months
Sex: Neutered male
Size: Small/medium
Color: Black/Rust

Benito is a very nice young boy. Playful, but not hyper. Loves people and other dogs. Cats, not so much. Friendly, but not in your face. Loves to play with other dogs, but can entertain himself.

Benito is house-broke, crate trained and loves car rides. He loves to play in water. He does pull on the leash, and really should attend an obedience class.

Benito is just an all-around good guy with no issues.

Upcoming dogs: Carly, Myrrha, Jack, Darby

We'll post their information as they become ready for adoption.

**DRM usually has additional dogs that are not listed on our site. Either these dogs aren't quite ready for adoption, or they are waiting for a foster space to open up so they can come into our program. Don't wait to apply until you see a dog you are interested in, or you may be aced out by a pre-approved adopter that is on our waiting list. **
