Adoption Application

**Before completing this application, please read about our Adoption Process.**

Requirements:

  • All existing pets are spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. We will check your veterinary references.
  • There are no children under the age of 6 living in the home.
  • You have a fenced area in your yard where the dog can safely exercise and relieve himself. We will consider a professionally installed invisible fence. The only exceptions to the fence policy are for families living in apartments or townhouses where leashed walks would be the only practical form of exercise. We will occasionally waive the fence policy for senior dogs with proven off-leash skills.
    UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we place our Dobermans into a home where they will be tied up on a chain or rope, be forced to live outside or to serve as outdoor "guard" dogs. 

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants more than 100 miles from the Twin Cities, will be considered on a case by case basis, depending upon the availability of DRM volunteers.
